Anyone know of a Sarah Romines who had 5 children? She married a Martin Sutton but the children went by the Romines name. I think she was born in Blount County in 1856.

Any information on James Monroe Powel/Powell, possibly born around 1850 to 1853, death date April 30, 1924. Census, parents name, wifes name, , would be so appreciated. I have found his grave in Gists Creek Cemetery, Sevier Co., Tenns. I believe one of his daughters is also buried in the the same Cemetery, Cleo Cody. He is possibly my 2nd G Grandfather, son Ben Powell G Grandfather.

My great-grandfather shows up as a 15 year old boy in Cocke County census for 1870, but no record exists for the family in 1860. There is some evidence his mother moved to Cocke from Sevier after her husband died. Could you please look at the Sevier County census for 1860 to see if the surname Spurgeon appears?

I am looking for the grave of Queen Victoria Woodruff Mills. She was born 1849 in SC and after 1860 lived between Jackson County, NC and Sevier County, TN. Her son Robert Vance Woodruff lived in Sevier County and her children James Thomas and Polly Mills lived in Jackson County. I am also looking for her daughter Polly who possibly married a Riley.

Searching for information about Sarah Ann Shults, born Nov. 24, 1893, born in Jones Cove,Tn, the youngest child of Archibald McNutly Shults and Lania Williams. Would like infor about her siblings and her mother's family. Archibald's parents were Pleasant wear Shults and Anna Duggan. Anna Duggan's parents were Daniel Duggan and Mary Polly Mcmahan. Mary Polly's parents were from the Archibald McMahan line. Pleasant Wear Shults' mother was Barbara Ann Emert and gg was Frederick Emert. I am looking for information about John who fought battles in TN during the Revolutionary War. He then settled and raised his family in Sevier County. I need information and proof that his son, Edward (married to Susan Ronemus)had a son named Edward, (married to Elizabeth Fizer) born about 1813 in TN, died Dec. 30, 1858 in Covington, KY.
