Died on the 17th inst., at the residence of Blesley Huffaker, in Sevier county, Tenn. Miss Hannah Adelia, youngest daughter of Ezekiel Bates, Esq. The deceased was a young lady of most amiable disposition and agreeable manners and as a consequence, enjoyed the friendship of all who knew her and the love of those who knew her best. Her piety was simple and consistent, it beautified her life and tranquilized her spirit in the hour of death.. Thus passed away this amiable young woman in the 20th year of her age, after a protracted illness. She left home to visit a sister and other friends, little dreaming that her spirit would there take its flight to Heaven and her lifeless body be carried back to her father’s residence for sepulcher. Her remains were consigned to the earth in Cleveland, Tenn., on the 19th day of March, 1856.
