Sheriff Sale - By virtue of four orders of sale, issued from the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Sevier County and to me directed, I will proceed to sale to the highest bidder for ready money on the first Monday of February next, 1844, at the courthouse door in Sevierville, all the right, title, interest and claim that James F H Porter Sr., has of, in, and to, one tract of land, containing 471 acres more or less, in Sevier County, in the Civil District No. 5, adjoining the lands of C. Cowans, H M Thomas and others to satisfy four judgments and costs, one in favor of Samuel Henry, for the use of Samuel Baly and one in favor of A E Smith and one in favor of Cambell Wallace & Co. and one in favor of A. Fine, administrator of George M Porter, deceased. - J Howard, Sherriff of Sevier County, Dec. 20, 1843
