A terrible murder was committed at Fair Garden, nine miles above Sevierville, about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

John Llewellyn cut and stabbed to death a neighbor by the name of Houston Craighorn and skipped the country. The last seen of the murderer he was headed towards Knoxville [remainder of article not transcribed]
